The Associate in Science in Massage Therapy degree program will prepare students for an entry level position as a Massage Therapist and/or Massage Facility Management. Students will develop the skills necessary to meet the needs of the health care community and be prepared to assume positions in the healthcare or resort/spa setting. Additionally, the program is intended to prepare students to manage, or own and operate a massage facility.Coursework in the program includes hydrotherapy and spa techniques, deep tissue massage, kinesiology, and therapeutic athletic massage. |
